Introduction and scope
This policy explains how Jamal Platform handles information on its website, PWA, Android, iPhone, and iPad applications.
Account information
We process the display name, email, securely hashed password, and optional profile photo, biography, birth date, or deletion reason.
Usage and interaction data
Favorites, viewing history, playback position and duration, comments, ratings, account creation, and last-login times may be stored to provide account features.
Technical and security data
Limited IP, security-event, session, app-token, device-name, request, and error data may be processed to secure and troubleshoot the service.
Contact messages
Contact form name, email, subject, message, and IP are stored to respond and prevent abuse.
Photos permission
The app opens the photo picker only when you choose a profile image; only the selected image is uploaded.
How we use information
Information is used to operate accounts and viewing features, display interactions, answer support, secure the platform, and process deletion requests.
Sessions, local storage, and PWA
Essential sessions, preferences, install prompts, and temporary cached assets may be stored. They are not currently used for targeted advertising.
Retention
Account data is retained while active; contact and security records only as reasonably necessary or legally required.
Account and data deletion
A deletion request immediately restricts the account and prevents login. Final processing occurs within no more than 24 hours. Withdrawal may be requested before completion. Associated data is then deleted , subject to limited legal or security retention.
Your rights
You may edit your profile, manage favorites, request deletion, and contact us about access, correction, or improper use.
Children
We do not intentionally collect children’s data. Users lacking legal capacity must use the service with a parent or guardian’s consent.
Security
We use high safeguards, but no electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Policy updates
We may update this policy as services or data practices change. The published version is effective from its publication date.
